The one, most important thing I’ve found for making homemade pizzas is the Uuni oven. For years I’ve tried so many different tools. I’ve tried a cookie sheet, the grill, a pizza steel, a pizza stone, and other countless amount of tools. Nothing seemed to get the bottom to cook like a restaurant’s, and the crust never seemed to get crispy. I found out about Uuni a little over 6 months ago, and it has been fantastic. It solved every problem that I had with the other techniques, by getting the crust super crispy, and pizza perfectly done. The best part — it cooks pizza in literally 90 seconds. It’s unbelievable.

I’ve used this pizza dough for a long time now, and it is by far the best recipe I’ve tried. I totally recommend it to start, and from there, you can adjust some of the salt and cake-yeast levels, as well as some other spices you might enjoy in the dough to your liking.
-4 fresh roma tomatoes; diced, and crushed
-Fresh oregano; finely minced; to taste
–Tellicherry Pepper; to taste
–Icelandic Sea Salt; to taste
(The Tellicherry Pepper, and Icelandic Sea Salt is from my dad’s spice company, and they are outstanding. I totally recommend trying these as well. So aromatic, and burst with flavor.)
-Onion powder; to taste
-2 tbsp grated parmigiano reggiano
-BelGioioso cheese; ripped into medium sized chunks, or cut into thin round circles
-Provolone cheese; use half the amount of provolone cheese to BelGioioso cheese
-3 Tbsp of freshly grated parmigiano reggiano
After making the dough and stretching it out, spoon over enough sauce to cover the pizza dough, but be sure to leave a little room near the sides of the crusts so it doesn’t seep out. Now, sprinkle your three cheeses on the pizza. Grind some fresh pepper over it, and drizzle a little bit of extra virgin olive oil on top of it. Be sure to add any toppings that you prefer now as well.
After your Uuni oven has been preheating for 15-20 minutes, you’re all set to go. Slide in your pizza, rotate it every so often, and after 90 seconds, you’ve got yourself a restaurant-quality delicious pizza.
